Dr. Diane Tung is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with extensive experience. She has treated thousands of children and prides herself in providing the highest quality care for children that is gentle and compassionate. Dr. Diane’s goal is to empower patients and their families by providing education in preventing cavities with common sense recommendations that are practical for real life. She strives to make positive experiences for children that will make them excited about visiting the dentist for their whole life.

Dr. Diane Tung was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised on Mercer Island, Washington. After attending Mercer Island High School, she went to the University of Washington, where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Diane graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in the top 10 percent of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Fraternity. She followed her passion for pediatric dentistry and completed her pediatric dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry, where she was on staff at the Children’s Hospital Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. During her residency, Dr. Diane gained extensive training in treating many different populations of children, including infants, extremely anxious patients, and special needs and medically compromised children. Dr. Diane has been in private practice ever since.
She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, Washington State Academy of Pediatric Dentists, Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and Evergreen Pediatric Dental Study Club.
Dr. Diane is married to her long-time love, Patrick. In 2014, they welcomed their first child Sam, and in 2018, their daughter Emily completed their family. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
